Konkani story 'Simevayalo Devchar' translated in Kannada

The Sahitya Akademy in New Delhi had recently organised a workshop of Konkani-Kannada story translators in Mumbai, when Goan writer Vishal Sinai Khandeparkar's story 'Simevayalo Devchar' was translated in Kannada. Stories in 25 Indian languages were chosen for translating in this workshop. 'Simevayalo Devchar' was translated by veteran writer in Kannada, Dr Geeta Shenoy. The story will be incorporated in a Kannada book 'Katha Bijan' to be published soon.
