The Department of English of Carmel College for Women, Nuvem organised the annual two-day, off-stage and on-stage literary event, ‘Litzkrieg - an inter-class literary festival’ on April 6 and 7. Litzkrieg comprised of three off-stage events namely ‘Crossword’, ‘Tell-A-Tale’, and ‘Poetic Pandemonium’ and two on-stage events, that is ‘Fancy-Fiesta’ and ‘Roast-Or-Be-Roasted’. The event aimed to encourage maximum participation, and to tap into the creative, literary sides of participants. The event also intended to ensure student collaboration in group activities so as to put up a united front as a class. Overall, the event was a huge success, witnessing a large amount of student participation. Runa Menezes, Sarah Fernandes, and Lorraine Correia were judges for the on-stage events, ‘Fancy-Fiesta’ and ‘Roast-Or-Be-Roasted’. The event was hosted by students of TY, Janice Lopes and Larissa Teles. The overall trophy was bagged by FYBA- A division.
