Mandre college of Commerce, Economics and Management had organised a field trip to Verna Industrial Estate on Thursday.
Students visited the Monginis Cake Factory where they got the opportunity to witness the actual baking process at the factory as well as the functioning of a factory.
Students also saw various instruments which are used in food processing unit and processing techniques of different bakery products.
NCP Supremo Sharad Pawar arrived to the State on Friday afternoon and was welcomed by NCP State President Jose Philip D’Souza, Goa State General Secretary Pritam Naik, National Spokesperson Clyde Crasto and others.Speaking to reporters, Naik said Pawar will attend a party executive meeting at Bambolim on Friday evening and would leave for Vengurla on Saturday morning for a party function.
