Marathi Rajbhasha Sahitya Sammelan 2024 will be held at Azad Bhavan Porvorim on Saturday. Mahakavi Sudhakar Gaydhani from Nagpur will inaugurate the Sammelan in the presence of President of Sammelan G R Dhavlikar, Swagatadhakshya Prakash Bhagat, Karyadhakshya Pournima Dessai, President of Gomantak Marathi Academy Pradip Ghadi Amonkar and Vice President Narendra Azgaonkar. The programme will begin with Shri Santeri Mahamaya Dindi Pathak at 8.30 am, followed by the inauguration of Marathi Rajbhasha Sahitya Sammelan 2024 at 10 am, which will continue till 11.30 am. There will be a symposium from 11.30 am to 1 pm on the subject ‘Marathi Rajbhasha and future of Goa’ in which speakers Dr Vitthal Thakur, Adv. Vallabh Dessai, Adv. Shivaji Dessai, and Vithoba Bagli will participate. In the afternoon between 2 pm and 3.30 pm, there will be one more symposium on the subject ‘Abhivyakticha Avishkar and Amhi Yuvak’ in which speakers Vijay Naik, Machindra Chari, Gaurish Naik, Akshata Kinalekar, Krishna Palyekar and Radha Gopi Gaad will present their views. There will be a Kavi Sammelan between 3.45 pm and 5 pm, followed by the concluding ceremony.
