MARGAO: Mitra Veterans beat Betalbatim Veterans 5-4 via the tie-breaker and moved to the semifinals of the Betalbatim Kala Mogi 2nd All Goa Veterans Football Cup 2024, at Betalbatim school ground, on Tuesday.
Fr Frankey made an attempt to shoot a goal for Betalbatim in the first half but the attempt was saved by the goalkeeper. Andrew made the second attempt but his shot hit by the pole. Trevor of Mitra Veterans missed two chances as a result the match ended goalless. In the tie-breaker, Mitra Veterans proved to be the better shooters.
