MARGAO
The suspect nabbed from Mumbai in the Old Margao railway station murder case has been remanded to four days police custody. Margao police informed that the accused, who is a resident of Curti-Ponda, had fled from the scene of offence before heading to Mumbai.
After his arrest in Mumbai, a team of Margao police has brought the accused to Goa. He has since been remanded to four days police custody. The police is investigating.
MARGAOThe Margao police has attached two rental bikes with identical numbers found parked at the Old fish market area behind the Margao Municipal building. The Margao Traffic cell has since handed over investigations in the matter to the Margao police. The two rental bikes, having the identical registration numbers, has only thrown up questions whether rental bikes are operating on the same registration numbers. Further investigation is on.
