National Conference at NCPOR

PANAJI: The National Conference on Polar Sciences will be held from May 16“19, 2023, at the National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (NCPOR). Diverse professionals in the fields of polar and ocean sciences will attend the event, which will be inaugurated by Dr M Ravichandran, Secretary of the Ministry of Earth Sciences.

NCPOR spearheads the polar research activities which started in 1981 with the 1st Antarctic expedition, Southern Ocean expedition in 2004, Arctic research in 2007, South Pole Expedition in 2010, and Himalayan cryospheric research in 2013.

PANAJI: St Theresa’s HSS, Candolim recorded a pass percentage of 99.35% in the GBSHSE class XII examination conducted this year. Out of the 153 students who appeared in the examination, 51 secured distinctions, 57 first class, 41 second class and 03 pass class.
