Fr Myron Jeson Barreto, Assistant to the Parish Priest, released his sixth Konkani book, 'Bhorvanxeachem Kirnn' at the Our Lady of Rosary Church in Navelim on Sunday.Navelim Parish Priest Fr Gabriel Coutinho along with Fr Diogo Fernandes released the book on the occasion of the feast of St Joseph Vaz, Patron of the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman.The book is a collection of articles which gives a ray of hope to imbibe good qualities and move forward.The forward of the book is penned by Vincy Quadros, President of Dalgado Konknni Akademi (DKA). Hailing from Sadolxem-Canacona, Fr Myron Jeson Barreto was recently awarded the ‘Yuva Srujan Puraskar’ by the State government for his contribution and achievementsin the field of Literature. He was also the recipient of the Konkani Bhasha Mandal’s Late Narsinha Damodar Naik award for Literature and the Dalgado Youth Award 2018.
