The State is witnessing a delay in the implementation of the primary education policy and not waiting further, vigilant parents should come together and initiate playhouses and Bal Sanskar centres in their areas, so that the children would get an opportunity to be prepared to face the challenges to come, stated child educationist Kalidas Marathe.
Marathe was speaking at the inauguration of the fourth Bal Sanskar Kendra at Dhavali. Marathe attended the ceremony along with Dr Venu Gawade, vice president of Kalyan Ashram, South Goa, social worker Sanjay Dhavalikar, Anand Gawade, regional chairman of Kalyan Ashram Goa’s education department, Nilesh Naik, coordinator of Bal Sanskar Kendra, and Khelan Gawade, chairman of Dhavali Bal Sanskar Kendra.
Dr Venu reviewed the activities of the Kendra and lauded the parents for taking active participation in starting the centre which will be open for two days a week, Tuesday, and Friday between 5-6 pm. Khelan Gawade welcomed the gathering, Nilesh Naik gave an introductory speech, Shruti Hazare compared, and Sanjay Dhavalikar gave the vote of thanks.
