MARGAO: Orel edge past Banda-2 2-1 in the Regina Martyrum Parish Cup 5-a-side league cum knock-out football tournament on Tuesday.
Meliston Pereira and Prasad Siddique scored in the sixth and 18th minutes respectively for Orel. Hassler Almeida pulled one back in the 21st minute for Banda-2.
The man-of-the-match was awarded to Prasad Siddique. From group, C Tarivaddo-2 qualified for the semi-final with an unbeaten record.
The chief guest was Fr Camilo Dias, Chaplain of Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel, Ambelim.
