The Pilar Theological Seminary, Pilar, Lenten Bible Course for the Laity got off to a good start on February 25. The certified Bible course was inaugurated by Rev Fr Peter Melo SFX, Rector of the Mission Seminary, Pilar. Resource person Rev Fr Santosh Mendonca SFX, (Prefect of Studies) preached on 'Introduction to the Gospel Narratives', and their theology in the Gospels. The well attended first session continues with three other sessions spaced between March 5, 12 and 19. The seminar is held at the Pilar Mission Seminary from 9 am onwards with the Holy Eucharist at 12 pm followed by lunch at 1 pm. Participants can do a pre-registration as also on the spot registration. Fees are Rs 200/session inclusive of stationery, mid tea, snacks and lunch.
