PMC sanctions projects worth Rs 4.5 cr from central funds

PONDA: As part of the first phase to beatify Ponda town, the Ponda Municipal Council (PMC) on Tuesday sanctioned the construction of a garden, parking lot and playground by spending Rs 4.56 crore from funds received from Centre.

A meeting was conducted in this connection and those present included Agriculture Minister Ravi Naik, PMC Chairperson Anand Naik. Councillors Ritesh Naik, Venkatesh alias Dada Naik, Geethali Talawalikar, Rupak Desai and other councillors.

PANAJI: The Department of Western Music of Kala Academy Goa, will be holding “Open Examinations” in the various Main Subjects (Solo Singing, Violin, Violoncello, Pianoforte, Classical Guitar and Electronic Keyboard) and Subsidiary Subjects (Solfeggio and Theory of Music), at present offered in the Department.
