The village panchayat child committee in association with Adhyayan Foundation organised a community reading habits at the village panchayat Siolim-Marna library for the children of Siolim. The programme was conducted by resource person Ms Diksha who guided the children on reading habits for different types of books, and storybooks while also conducting a drawing session. Serilda Carvalho trained a group of children who sang a song about their love of reading books. Aidan Dsouza played the guitar. The chairperson Gregory Dsouza welcomed the resource person, while the Sarpanch Sharmila Vernekar spoke to the children and gave away gifts to them. 13 children attended the programme.
