PANAJI
The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra will organize a run/walk at North District (Panaji) on August 28, 2021, from 7.30 am to 9 am. The route for the event will start from Azad Maidan to Kala Academy and back.
This event is organized as a part of the 75th Anniversary of India's freedom ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ which has planned 'Fit India Freedom Run' 2.0 to encourage the youth to participate in the run/walk at his/her own pace following Covid protocols.
This event aims to create awareness among the people to take up fitness activities such as running and sports in their daily lives and be free from obesity, laziness, stress, anxiety.
