MARGAO: Salgoacar FC downed Sporting Clube de Goa 3-0 in the GFA's U-15 Division League First Division, at Sinquetim Sports Complex, Navelim, on Thursday.
Salgaocar dominated the first half and pushed their opponents on the back foot. Perisitent forays paid off the dividends as captain Aaron Pinto broke the deadlock when he slotted past the rival goalkeeper with a snap shot. Spurred by the lead, Salgaocar galvanised the attacks and Nayeen Dias double the lead in the 38th minute.
The second half belong to Salgaocar who attacked the rival citadel and in the 48th minute, Abner Lourenco added his name on the scorer list.
