INDIA bloc appoints 12 spokespersons

With less than three weeks to go for polling day and the campaign gaining ground, the INDIA bloc in Goa has appointed a set of twelve spokespersons drawn from each of the constituent parties.

A statement issued by M K Shaikh, the senior vice-president of the Congress whose candidates Ramakant Khalap and Viriato Fernandes are contesting both the seats, said the panel of spokespersons will be handling media and publicity on behalf of INDIA bloc during the campaign.

The panel includes four from the Congress “ Tulio D’Souza, Amarnath Panjikar, Manisha Usgaonkar, Jitendra Gaonkar and Michelle Rebello. The two spokespersons from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) are its leaders Valmiki Naik and Surel Tilve.

The Goa Forward Party’s Durgadas Kamat, Vikas Bhagat and Ashma Bi, besides NCP’s Avinash Bhosale, Shiv Sena-UBT’s Jitesh Kamat and TMC’s Jayesh Shetgaonkar are the others in the panel of spokespersons.

Schools as polling stations to add greenery ahead of voting day
