PANAJI: The Samraat Club of Panaji held its installation ceremony for the new executive committee at the GCCI Hall, Panaji, on October 4. Samraat Anju Desai was installed as the new president, succeeding outgoing president Samraat Shivkumar Joshi. The newly appointed Board of Directors for 2025“26 includes Samraat Pooja Kenkre (Secretary), Samraat Vivek Vernekar (Treasurer), Samraat Bhalchandra Amonkar (Director “ Programmes), Samraat Prakash Mahambre (Director “ Membership), Samraat Rohidas Naik (Director “ Club Extension), Samraat Leena Tari and Samraat Rajat Maewal (Directors “ Public Relations), and Samraat Prerna Pawuskar (Auditor).
The event was graced by chief guest Pallavi Salgaonkar, Goa State President of Laghu Udyog Bharti, along with Samraat Shashikant Punaji, State President of Samraat Club International (SCI) State 1; Samraat Mahesh Naik, Director “ Finance, SCI; and Samraat Avinash Borkar, Block President, Samraat Club State 1. Cultural performances by Omida Dance & Fitness and Manjeet Bedi’s team added colour to the evening. Eight new members were inducted into the club, including six women ” the highest number so far. The new members are Samraat Surabhi Tirlotkar, Samraat Sakshi Vast, Samraat Manjeet Bedi, Samraat Priyal Sawant, Samraat Nitoosingh Khushyal, Samraat Shivani Singh, Samraat Raja Gadekar, and Samraat Shainaz Khan.
