PANAJI: St Thomas Church, Aldona, celebrated the Jubilee of Seniors and Association Day on October 2. The event brought together members from various parish associations, including Seniors, St Vincent de Paul, Legion of Mary, Youth, Catechetical, Altar Servers, Charismatic, World Apostolate of Fatima, and the Liturgical Unit. The celebration began with a Eucharistic service led by Parish Vicar Fr Tomas Lobo, assisted by Asst Parish Priest Fr Agnel Simoes. In his homily, Fr Lobo highlighted the meaning of “ASSOCIATION” through an acronym focused on faith, unity, and service. After Mass, members gathered at the parish centre for a cultural programme featuring songs, dances, and a Mando. Fr Simoes, the chief guest, praised the efforts of all associations. Fr Lobo welcomed the gathering, Sandhya Fernandes proposed the vote of thanks, and senior member Nick Figueiredo compered the event.
