Giving a message to ‘save the trees and plant more trees’ the Vivekanand Dynan Mandir Vidyalaya conducted a seed ball making workshop for students. The geography teacher Ramdas Shetkar conducted this workshop that aimed at making students sensitive towards nature and earth. The students had collected seeds of various fruits including jamun, jackfruit, mango, kokum, cashew, chunna, chara, bora, karvande etc. One of the parents, Prashant Rane, donated soil and jeevamrut. The teacher showed the demonstration of how to make the seedball. The students were guided on how to conserve nature. The students made thousands of seed balls, which would be thrown around in the vicinity during the monsoons.
