A seminar cum workshop was conducted for teachers of Our Lady of Piety High School in Collem on Friday. The topic was on ‘Graphical Organisers in Teaching and Learning’ and Dr Denzil Martins, former principal and professor with over 30 years of experience in using innovative approaches in teaching, rejuvenated teaching conducted the workshop along with the Seminar Coordinator Fr Allan Noronha sfx. Headmaster Incharge Fr Carson Dourado sfx, encouraged the teachers to make the young ones under their care good students and life-long learners. Given a rapidly changing and digital world, teachers were motivated to adopt innovative teaching approaches and strategies, while the key to getting students excited in classrooms is ‘engagement’.
