The results of the Konkani Kathika contest organised by the Shenoi Goembab Seva Kendra Sanvardem Curchorem has been announced and Vardha Khandeparkar from Margao bagged the first prize for her short story ‘Blister Pearl’. The second prize has been pocketed by Siddhant Khandekar of Curchorem for his short story ‘She is she eeee’ and the third prize went to Khushi Sawant from Vade-Vasco for her short story ‘Vismit’. The first and second consolation prizes were announced to Jai Naik from Quepem for ‘Prasanna’ and Devita Ishwar Khule of Canacona. Noted story writer Vasant Bhagwant Sawant, Ramnath G Gaude and Shailesh Sanzgiri judged the stories. The contest received good response, stated convenor Snehal Nayak. The prizes were distributed by Mohandas Sawant Desai, secretary of the Kendra.
