The rural journalists have worked towards giving a directive to the society, highlighted developmental activities and were always vocal against the unfair, unjust practices, but their immense contribution has always been neglected, lamented Dr Chandrakant Shetye, president, Shiksha Vision. Dr Shetye was addressing the felicitation ceremony of rural journalists at Mulgao.
The event was attended by journalist Raviraj Chari, elected member of municipal council Gunjan Korgaonkar, district member Pradip Revodkar and Sanjay Shetye. Pradip Revodkar and Sanjay Shetye addressed the gathering. After offering garlands to Lokmanya Tilak’s photo, journalists Raviraj Chari, Tukaram Sawant, Vishant Vaze, Ramnath Desai, Jeevan Kalangutkar, Dilip Desai, Samir Umarye, Durgadas Garde, Uday Parab, Rajesh Chodankar, Vinayak Samant, Kashinath Mayekar, Yashwant Parab were felicitated. Dilip Dhargalkar compered and Sanjay Shetye gave a vote of thanks.
