The Cinephile Film Club presents a special tribute programme on June 2 at 6.15 pm at Auditorium I, Maquinez Palace, Old GMC Complex, Panjim, to the nightingale of India and one of the greatest cultural icons of all time, Lata Mangeshkar, who passed away earlier this year. The programme will have over 100 video and audio snippets of songs and the most knowledgeable music aficionados in the country will talk about background stories, anecdotes, and trivia of iconic songs and trace the journey of Lata Mangeshkar through her songs. The participants are Pavan Jha, Archisman Mozumder and Dr Chandrashekhar Rao. The programme will be moderated by film critic Sachin Chatte. Entry is free for all on a first-come-first-served basis.
