PANAJIAs part of the 365th year anniversary of St John the Baptist Church at Pilerne, there will be a three-hour spiritual renewal programme at Our Lady of Candelaria Chapel Pilerne every first Friday of the month. On August 5, the service will begin at 3 pm with Divine Mercy Rosary, followed by one-hour adoration. Fr Savio Fernandes, Executive Secretary cum Treasurer of the Council for Social Justice and Peace, will give a talk on the Pope’s intention for the month of August. This month’s intention of the Pope is for the small and medium-sized businesses, in the midst of economic and social crisis, that they may find ways to continue operating and serving their communities. There will be confessions after the talk. The day will end with the Holy Eucharist. There will be a meeting of the outgoing committee and the new Chapel committee on that day.
