MARGAO: St Joseph's Educational Institute pipped Our Lady of Carmel's High School, Curtorim 1-0 in the exhibition match organised by St Josephs Ex students Association Chandor Goa on Chandor Church ground.
Player of the match Acira Fernandes' long ranger gave no chance to the Carmel goalkeeper which gave St Joseph the lead in the 12th minute. Meara Mascarenhas of Carmel came close to equalising but the Chandor keeper kept the ball away.
