PANAJI: Voices of Caranzalem organized their 3rd Konkani singing competition, Suadik Tallo, at Souto Maior Community Hall, Caranzalem recently. The event was graced by Chief Guest Francis Corte, Deputy Superintendent of Police, and Guest of Honour, Fr Pio Almeida, Parish Priest of Rosary Church, Caranzalem.
The musical accompaniment was provided by Roy Menezes and his ensemble. In recognition of their contributions to the community, distinguished individuals from Caranzalem were felicitated, including Hipolito Fernandes, St Xavier’s Sound System, Menino Fernandes, Catechist, and Cruz Sequeira, a noted decorator.
The competition was held under the leadership of Gregory Fernandes.
