KTC buses fail to provide safe & comfortable travel

Travelling on Kadamba Transport Corporation (KTC) buses, especially during the monsoon, has become a wet and uncomfortable experience for passengers. A significant number of these KTC buses are in a very bad state, with leaky ceilings that wet seats and force passengers to stand despite empty spaces. This isn’t just a matter of inconvenience. These constant leaks pose a health risk, creating wet environments perfect for breeding mould and bacteria.

Passengers forced to stand shoulder-to-shoulder in such conditions are more likely to get illnesses. The current situation reflects poorly on the authorities responsible for maintaining KTC’s fleet. Passengers deserve better. They deserve to travel in safe and comfortable conditions, free from the health hazards posed by leaky ceilings and wet seats.
