The Department of English of Carmel College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Nuvem, Goa will be organizing a Masterclass on PARTITION AND CULTURE on April 3, 2021. The Resource person will be Dr Marja Liisa Wallenius, from Finland.
Dr Wallenius, a Finnish national, has recently completed her PhD from Goa University on the topic “A Tale of Two Countries: A Comparative Study of Partition Literature of India and Finland.” She worked as a full-time scholar under the guidance of Prof K S Bhat from the Department of English, Goa University.
