MARGAO: Ugem Rising Club downed St Anthony SC, Colva 2-0 and moved the quarter-finals of the Ugem Rising Club football tournament, at Ugem ground, on Saturday.
Dinu Raikar missed a chance to score in the 12th minute. Colva's Kabir Khan's shot was saved by Ugem goalkeeper in the 30th minute.
Ugem netted two quick goals through Lawrence Fernandes in the 42nd and 45th minutes.
The man-of-the-match award was presented to Lawrence Fernandes by Ugem Rising Club former treasurer Silviano Fernandes.
