PANAJI: The Urja Foundation has announced its annual scholarship distribution programme from 23rd June to 7th July 2024, across seven locations. Starting with Sattari Taluka students at K.B. Hedgewar High School, Valpoi on 23rd June at 9:30 am, the foundation will also host events for Bichilom Taluka students in Sarvona Bicholim at 3:30 pm the same day. Ponda Taluka students will receive scholarships on 30th June at 3:30 pm at G.V.M. Higher Secondary School Hall, Farmagudi, Ponda, followed by Sanguem Taluka students at 9:30 am at Government Higher Secondary School, Sanguem.
Canacona Taluka students will be awarded scholarships on 30th June at 3:30 pm at Shri Mallikarjun High School Hall, Canacona. Rural Bardez Taluka students will gather on 6th July at 3:30 pm at Janata High School Hall, Mapusa. The final event will be on 7th July at 9:30 am at Sant Sohirobanath Ambiye Government College of Arts & Science, Virnoda, Pernem, with an address by Sir Anil Samant, Ex-Principal and President of Goa Marathi Academy.
