PANAJI: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Hemophilia Society Goa in association with Saheli SwayamrojgarYojna conducted an awareness program in Bicholimin at Shree Siddhivinayak Temple, Borden. Hemophilia Society Goa President Prasad Arolkar explained about this bleeding disorder called haemophilia.
He appealed the women to get education on the symptoms. “Stay alert, if such symptoms are seen, report immediately to the family members and their doctor and get treatment at the earliest,” said Arolkar.
All women who were present were provided sanitary napkins. Narayan Betkekar handed over prizes of various competitions to the women’s groups.
