‘Vicharvedh' lecture series for Jan 6 at Margao

Gomant Vidya Niketan’s annual lecture series ‘Vicharvedh' will be held from January 6Â to 10 at Govind (Baba) Kare auditorium daily at 6 pm.
Along with the lecture series, an exhibition of cartoons by Satish Acharya will be held at the foyer
area. The exhibition will be inaugurated on January 6, at 5.30 pm, by Jayant Pawar, senior assistant Editor of daily, Maharashtra Times. He is also a playwright, literary critic and eminent thinker. There will also be a book exhibition at the open space in front of GVN building, which will be inaugurated on January 4, at 10 am, by civil engineer Shaileh Sanzagiri from Curchorem. This exhibition will be from January 4 to 10 from 10 am to 8 pm.
On the first day of the 5-day lecture series, Jayant Pawar will deliver Damodar K Verlekar Memorial lecture on 'Globalisation and Marathi Theater.
Dr Anjali Kirtane, writer, editor, critic and documentary film producer will deliver Datta Govind
Pai Raiturkar Memorial lecture on January 7, on the topic, 'Making of a Documentary Film.'
Poet Prof Indrajeet Bhalerao will deliver Shreenivas Nayak Memorial lecture on January 8, on 'Journey of My Poetry.
