Proposals have been submitted to construct two more temporary structures, including a jetty and reception lounge, near the River Navigation Department (RND) along the Mandovi river.
According to sources, the proposal has been received from the Director of Golden Peace Infrastructure Pvt Ltd, Hotel New Majestic, to set a temperature structure at the RND jetty ramp near Quarter Deck Restaurant in Panaji.
The reception lounge and aisle measuring 328.25 square meters has been planned in this area.
There is another proposal from Goldenglobe Hotels Private Limited to construct a temporary jetty adjacent to the Captain of Ports Jetty.
Both proposals were discussed during a recent meeting of the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA) and it was decided to have proper inspection of the sites before giving any approval to these projects.
