The Goa Tourism Development Corporation’s (GTDC) ambitious project of Live Visual 3D entertainment show and allied services at Calangute has got approval from the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA).
The GCZMA had earlier given phase-wise permission for the project in 2010, 2012 and 2020.
The GTDC has already partially constructed few structures as stage, projection room, restaurants, retail units, etc.
In the new plan, GTDC will build a stage, two projection rooms, rental units, 4 restaurants, security and ticketing cabins.
The GTDC has decided to redesign and replace pavers to create more space for water percolation and open space for vegetation. Water ponds are also planned in the complex to reduce overall heat effect.
There is a provision for mechanical car lift parking, which will create additional space.
The GTDC has decided to grow trees, including the periphery of the parking space, to enhance the shade around the project.
