Two robbers stole a mangalsutra worth Rs 1.8 lakh from a 49-year-old woman near Sai Service centre at Curti-Ponda on Sunday.
According to sources, the complainant, who owns a general store in the area, said two men had stopped in front of her shop and one of them asked for a water bottle.
As she was coming out of the shop, the accused snatched her necklace valued at around Rs 1.8 lakh and ran off with the rider who was waiting outside.
The complainant shouted for help but by then, both robbers fled on their two-wheeler.
