Ponda police on Wednesday have detained two teachers of a primary school in Ponda taluka on charges of sexually assaulting a girl student at a school gathering in 2018.
According to reports, the incident had allegedly been filmed and went viral recently. The girl’s parents then contacted an NGO and filed a police complaint.
Two teachers have now been detained in this connection and Ponda PI Mohan Gawde is investigating the case under the guidance of DySP Nelson Albuquerque.
