The Maina-Curtorim police on Friday effected one more arrest in the Sadiq Bellari murder case, taking the number of accused arrested in the murder case so far to six.
One more accused person, who had played a role in arranging motorcycle to the main assailants on the day of murder, is still at large. Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Margao DySP Santosh Desai informed that the police have on Friday arrested one Kabir in connection with the murder.
“The accused had played a role in the conspiracy hatched by the members of the group to murder Sadiq Bellari. Investigations in the case are progressing in the right directions,” he said.
DySP Santosh added that the police are now on lookout for the remaining accused, who had arranged a motorcycle to the killers of the deceased Sadiq Bellari.
