One person was arrested for theft of a mobile, Colvale Police informed.
Colvale Police had received a complaint from a labourer that his mobile worth Rs 10,000 was stolen while he was asleep at a construction site.
After detailed investigation, police zeroed in on accused Rashid Mulla (22) of Nagoa and arrested him for the theft.
The mobile phone belonging to the complainant was also recovered from the possession of the accused.
Colvale Police also attached a scooter which was used for commission of the offence. The accused has been remanded to three days in police custody. Colvale PI Vijay Rane is investigating further.
