Did Chimbel Sarpanch Chandrakant Kunkolkar vote against himself out of his own will or was he under duress from any quarters which made him do so?
This question was doing the rounds in Chimbel as the sarpanch himself voted in the no-trust motion against him which cited non cooperation as the reason.
“By voting in favour of the motion, has the ousted sarpanch justified the allegation of non-cooperation or was he under duress from outside forces?” a villager questioned, while opining that the best option for the sarpanch could have been to remain absent or abstain from voting.
“There is more to it than meets the eye,” the villager added.
