Dy Collector refuses Julus request in Canacona for third time

Canacona Deputy Collector Madhu G Narcekar has for the third time refused to grant permission to the Muslims to hold a Julus procession in Canacona on Sunday.

In a joint response to the President and Secretary of Sunni Islami Jame Masjid, Colomb-Canacona on Friday, Canacona Dy Collector and SDO Madhu G Narcekar informed that the permission for the Julus procession could not be considered as requested on September 29, due to law and order situation that may emerge as reported by police authorities.
