A second FIR has been registered against Congress leader Savio Coutinho, this time by the Fatorda police.
The FIR follows a complaint lodged by the South Goa Additional Collector-II Ramesh Gaonkar alleging the Coutinho had on November 5 had entered the premises of Joint Mamlatdar-II and started asking for SIR reports.
The complaint further stated that without the knowledge and consent of the complainant, Coutinho allegedly took the daily report document from the table and displayed the reports to the media thereby breaking official protocol and confidentiality.
He has been further accused of obstructing Pradeep Virdikar, who has been posted in the office while discharging his lawful duties.
A case under section 221, 324 (2), 351(1) and 329 of the BNS stands registered against Savio Coutinho.
