They have complained that Valpoi police has not registered an FIR against him till date.

After submitting a memorandum at the Valpoi police station, some members of Gakuved informed reporters that a complaint was filed in this incident by the victim but said the FIR had not been registered.

They have demanded that Valpoi police register the FIR against Madkar for allegedly assaulting one of their community members Dattaram Gawde from Solye and claimed that Madkar had hurt the feelings and sentiments of ST community by passing derogatory remarks against the community.

“We demand an FIR be registered against Madkar and five others from Honda under Prevention of Atrocities Act, for insulting our community. A free and fair investigation must be conducted in this case,” said Rupesh Velip, while briefing the media.
