Goa Govt to launch 'Panchayat Chalo Abhiyan' to address public concerns

In a proactive move, the Goa government is gearing up to launch the 'Panchayat Chalo Abhiyan' from February 27th. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, along with 12 other ministers, will embark on a tour across all panchayats within the 12 talukas.

The primary objective of this initiative is to directly engage with the public and address their grievances effectively. The 'Panchayat Chalo Abhiyan' comes as part of the government's commitment to governance transparency and responsiveness.

During the tour, the Chief Minister and ministers will listen to the concerns, suggestions, and feedback from the citizens, fostering a more direct and participatory form of governance.

The initiative holds particular significance as it precedes the five-year mark of the Sawant-led government, which will be commemorated on March 19th.
