IMA promises free teleconsultation, paid quarantine facilities

PANAJI
IMA has announced free teleconsultation, paid quarantine facilities and promised to release video presentations on Covid self-care.

Indian Medical Association-Goa (IMA-Goa) has activated its ‘paid quarantine facilities’ for doctors, their families, healthcare workers and also for Covid positive patients at Oceanic Residency in Colva and Oceanic Wellness in Sangolda with official permissions.

The admitted beneficiaries at these covid facilities will be in touch with a team of IMA doctors and medical specialists over telephone. All beneficiaries will have to buy a kit containing a pulse oximeter, thermometer and regular medicine at these quarantine centres. Meals and proper biomedical waste disposal facilities will be provided at these centres.

Those who seek admittance to these centres are required to contact former IMA-Goa president Dr Samuel on 9096875757.

Apart from this, IMA-Goa members will release short video presentations to educate the general public on how to take care of themselves, how to use a pulse oximeter, how to prepare hypochlorite solution and pack waste for proper disposal.
