MAPUSA
AAP State convenor and Mapusa candidate, Rahul Mhambre on Saturday said that he has put the best foot forward and left it to the voters to decide the fate of the city.
He said for almost two decades Mapusa has failed to develop and there was a need to bring a change in leadership.
“Our neighbouring villages have done much better development-wise but Mapusa has been left behind. We need to change that. The voters should give AAP and me a chance. I will not disappoint the people of Mapusa and live up to your expectations,” Mhambre said while appealing to the voters of Mapusa.
He said the AAP’s vision document for Mapusa has gone to each and every home which will help the voters to make the right decision.
He further said that the construction of a helipad in Mapusa within two days has clearly demonstrated that the government can do things if it has the intention.
The State AAP convenor said that he was aware that the candidates of both the national parties will indulge in luring the voters.
“I have asked the voters to take whatever is given to them and even demand more but to vote for the right candidate on February 14,” he said.
