Holding Milind Naik responsible for haphazard reservations in the Mormugao municipality wards, Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida demanded that Chief Minister Pramod Sawant should immediately remove Naiks from his portfolio.
There is no sequence and reservations have been done as per the wishes of the Minister, alleged Almeida.
“Milind should be dropped if he cannot do his work and CM should take charge of his portfolios,” demanded Almeida.
Almeida said that Milind’s interference has created a negative feeling in four constituencies of Mormugao taluka and the BJP will have to suffer in these talukas. “Murmugao has 50 per cent of ladies and there is no reservation for women in the first 9 wards,” lamented Almeida.
