The Goa Branch of the National Association for Blind will host a 'White Cane Day' webinar on Thursday via the 'Google Meet' app between 10 and 11 am.
Social Welfare Director Umeshchandra Joshi will be the chief guest, while clips of skits by visually impaired and a blind walk will be part of the hour-long webinar.
NAB advisor Leena Prabhu will hold forth on what 'White Cane Day' signifies and Taha Haziq will deliver a talk on the importance of the white cane in everyday life of the visually impaired.
Mahadev Sawant of NAB Goa will speak on the 'White Cane' as a mobility tool and the webinar will include a Q&A session.
