Sounding undeterred after missing the Cabinet bus, Curtorim four-time Independent MLA Reginaldo Lourenco said his priority for the moment is to usher in development of his constituency and fulfill the promises made to the people during elections.
The Independent MLA further said there would be no change in his decision extending support to the BJP government.
He told The Goan moments after he missed the Cabinet berth yet again, that though he had expectations that the Chief Minister would induct him in his Cabinet, he was clear in saying his utmost priority is to fulfill the promises given to the people.
“When I extended support to the BJP government, my first priority was to see the development of my constituency. There are many youth who are looking for jobs. I have to fulfill their aspirations,” he said, adding that he would pursue all the promises with the government.
He added: “I have nothing more to say. I understand the sentiments of my supporters and workers. But, one thing is clear, I will work tirelessly for the development of my constituency”.
