Opinion on worker’s cause of death reserved

The medico-legal surgeon, who conducted the post-mortem examination of the 22-year old deceased worker at the Cuncolim Industrial Estate, has reserved the opinion on the cause of death. Dr Madhu Gawde said the viscera of the deceased worker has been preserved and will be sent to the forensic laboratory for testing.

Meanwhile, a day after the Goa police registered an offence under section 304-A of the IPC in connection with the incident, no arrests have been made. Senior police officers only said the matter is under investigation.
