The Supreme Court of India has postponed to February the hearing in the pleas filed by the mining companies led by Vedanta and others seeking that their mining leases be extended till 2037.
The Court has also decided to hear in chamber the review plea filed by the Government of Goa seeking review of the 2018 Supreme Court judgement which cancelled the 88 mining leases and brought mining to a halt in Goa.
